We enjoyed our stay at Carwin. The house is generally well equipped with comfortable furniture and beds. With the beach within walking distance, the children loved exploring the rock pools and jumping the waves. There was plenty to explore nearby, such as the pretty town of Looe, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and several National Trust houses. ...

CARWIN HOUSE is a lovely big property but unsuitable for anyone with walking issues...steep stairs up to front door. .4 flights of stairs to get to the kitchen/lounge. Location was not ideal the road outside has a lot of traffic at set times and there are no pavements for a few hundred yards so having dogs on lead can be pretty dangerous untill you reach the pavement on one side going down to the beach. . No outside hose to wash the dogs feet before entering the house which is a pain. .they had one on the next door property with warm water as well as cold. Beach has dark black sand not yellow .. No EV charging point at Carwin... they had one next door...this is something that would be really helpful. The house is well furnished...beds are comfortable but the bathrooms and en suite need some maintenance ...floor tiles cracked and need re grouting. Plenty of hot water for showers ..nice towels.. The one big issue was noise above your head where people were walking around even though we had nothing on our feet the floor boards creak and especially below the kitchen and lounge the noise was bad so if you were in bed you can here everything if people are walking about upstairs.. For the reasons stated above we would not come back to this property as it's not suitable with the dogs. Overall we did have a pleasant week....

Lovely 10 days away in Carwin. Property was perfect for a family of 7 with dogs. Location was excellent really close to the beach. The house is a lot bigger than the pictures and so clean. Would definitely recommend staying at Carwin

A very comfortable stay in a spacious house a few minutes from the beach. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped. Lots of bathrooms! Seaton is really well located for travelling around Cornwall. The local beach bar and pub are lovely. Nice coastal walks from the doorstep. ...
