CARWIN HOUSE is a lovely big property but unsuitable for anyone with walking issues...steep stairs up to front door. .4 flights of stairs to get to the kitchen/lounge. Location was not ideal the road outside has a lot of traffic at set times and there are no pavements for a few hundred yards so having dogs on lead can be pretty dangerous untill you reach the pavement on one side going down to the beach. . No outside hose to wash the dogs feet before entering the house which is a pain. .they had one on the next door property with warm water as well as cold. Beach has dark black sand not yellow .. No EV charging point at Carwin... they had one next door...this is something that would be really helpful. The house is well furnished...beds are comfortable but the bathrooms and en suite need some maintenance ...floor tiles cracked and need re grouting. Plenty of hot water for showers ..nice towels.. The one big issue was noise above your head where people were walking around even though we had nothing on our feet the floor boards creak and especially below the kitchen and lounge the noise was bad so if you were in bed you can here everything if people are walking about upstairs.. For the reasons stated above we would not come back to this property as it's not suitable with the dogs. Overall we did have a pleasant week....

Lovely 10 days away in Carwin. Property was perfect for a family of 7 with dogs. Location was excellent really close to the beach. The house is a lot bigger than the pictures and so clean. Would definitely recommend staying at Carwin

The house was excellent. Spotlessly clean, very well stocked with glasses/tablewear etc and very comfortable with beautiful furnishings etc The beds were comfortable and its a very spacious house. Each floor has its own bathroom which is perfect if you're staying with another family as you get your own privacy. We loved the house. There is no pathway directly outside the property and for about 50 meters up the road. This means that you're walking in the road when you first leave the house. This was ok for us but I would worry if I was using a pushchair or had small children with me. The property is in easy walking distance to the beach/cafes etc The garden area does need some TLC. Upon arrival we had to sweep it, the leaves were covering the floor, we had to get rid of cobwebs and generally make the garden tidy enough to sit in. However, there are garden seats and it did get a lot of sunshine up until around 2pm. There is a BBQ and its very peaceful. Overall I would recommend and revisit this property and location.
