A lovely house that is beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

A lovely property, perfect for us and our 2 boys - lots of thought has gone into making sure everything you need is provided, it’s a great location and the fact there’s parking is a bonus!

Fantastic stay. Lovely property, we have never stayed somewhere so well equipped. Good location for getting into the old town. And only about a 20 minute walk to the seafront.

Absolutely the best place we stayed in on IOW. Well-equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. More than enough cupboards space everywhere, very comfortable beds, couch and chairs. Short distance to stores, public transport and beach. Nicely decorated, light, even a nice little garden with flower pots. Very recommendable, a place to return to!

Really lovely place to stay. It's homely, clean, and comfortable. Parking is a little tricky but manageable in a small car. However tea towels and oven gloves are not provided.

Lovely property which is well equipped and in a great location. Be aware that the parking is tricky to maneuver and I would advise future guests to always reverse their vehicle out of the space.

This property is in a great location, around a 15 minute walk from the seafront, with an arcade and restaurants. It was a great base for us to explore the whole island and the parking space was a bonus. The property was really spacious and well furnished, would definitely stay again.

Well placed, well equipped property - fine for 2 or 4 with plenty of storage. Excellent access to local shops, restaurants, with a short walk to the beach and the coastal path. Good value for money, but often the parking was difficult.

A beautiful property in a fantastic location. The property is a minute's walk from Shanklin Old Town, which itself is a 10-15 minute walk to the sea front (either via the Chine or the park). There are lots of pubs and restaurants within walking distance and good public transport links. The property itself is clean, bright, and homely. It had everything we needed and the furnishings and decor are lovely.

The only downside to the property is the parking. We're good at parking in tight spots but the driveway space is split into two and if next door decide to use their half then it is impossible to park (you will be entirely blocked in); we had to park diagonally across both spaces (the neighbouring property was empty). When next door don't use their side it is still difficult to get in and out, and we never saw any available on street parking (we visited in September). I would advise that guests treat this as a property without parking and plan to use the car park a couple of streets away; if you get there and the space is available and accessible to you then it's a bonus. This was warned about in the description so this isn't a negative towards the owner or Classic Cottages, just note that the space is even tighter than we expected!

Overall a very lovely place to stay and we'll definitely be back. Our experience with Classic Cottages has been great too.
