Stonewater Barn is an absolutely brilliant property in an oasis of a garden. The hosts are so friendly and the property itself is very cozy and well equipped! The building itself is beautifully renovated. It is situated right in the centre of Brixham, only a short walk into town. The driveway is very tight so big cars will not fit. We will definitely be coming back!...

Our stay at Stonewater Barn couldn't have been more relaxing. It's such a charming property and the incredibly clever design means it has the perfect combination of space and cosiness. Evenings with the wood burner (and a good glass of wine) were an absolute delight and it's position in the town means it's equally easy to enjoy the pubs and restaurants by the harbour and to escape into the Devon countryside beyond. Our hosts, Pat and Ian were incredible and were always there if we needed them and the extra little touches that they offer including kitchen condiments and a delicious slice of cake on arrival were the icing on the cake. We've stayed at a number of cottages over the years and this was absolutely top of the list in terms of how straightforward all of those little admin tasks on arriving and leaving were too. We'd recommend Stonewater Barn to any couple looking for a romantic weekend away and since we only had a chance to explore a small part of the surrounding area, we'll probably be back at some point!...
