To the Lighthouse

We had a great stay here. As it was the end of January we experienced lots of weather but that was to be expected! It didn’t make any difference because the location is superb and the house is comfortable and has everything you need. The owner has put a lot of thought into everything and we appreciated the focus on sustainability. Highly recommended....

My wife only had one request and that was to be able to see the sea. Well, we had sea on three sides and cows on the other, wonderful. Fabulous views and lots to look at. Wish we’d brought binoculars for the light show we were treated to one evening on the opposite headland: a military training exercise which kept us entertained. Staying beside a lighthouse was thrilling, we had all the weather, and enjoyed all of it. The house itself is very well-kept and well-equipped. Very thoughtfully and sympathetically decorated and furnished with plenty of space. We had a very calm and relaxing stay. Highly recommend. Thanks for the welcome treats! ...

Really nice property with a real homely feeling. The style was really nice and cleverly done. Felt really homely. If you want to get away from it all Perfect but also a great base to cover that part of Pembroke and Watwick Bay was a real find ( a 5 minute drive or hour walk from the house )as a beautiful beach Like a mini Barafundle Bay Great having three bedrooms. Stayed in various parts of Pembrokeshire over the years and this property was one of our favourites Amazing views on all sides Dale locally is really great ...

This really is an exceptional property in a wonderful location. The house was bright, airy and comfortable while still being cosy on rainy days - it was spotlessly clean. Everything you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen and the outside space was lovely. We had a dog with us so appreciated the enclosed garden and fenced off green area. She did find the cows a little alarming but quickly got used to them! I particularly appreciated the eco approach to the property - very refreshing to see such care being taken over products and materials. It's very remote (which suited us) so you'll need to stock up with provisions at some point. I definitely recommend bringing binoculars as the view and the boats are quite beguiling!...

Third visit and have booked for next year . We love to the lighthouse. It is always spotlessly clean, well equipped and a stunning location! Looking forward to our next visit
