This is our second stay at Solas. We came in the 2nd heatwave and had some of the most amazing weather. We stayed for just over a week and we went to the beach every day! As always cannot fault the property, everything you could need is provided. Seaview is so Beautiful and cosy, never want to leave. The games room is the best idea if you have small children. We visited seagrove bay, priory bay and appley beach which has a playground. All stunning. Thank you to the owners of this amazing property for renting it out amd allowing others to share in the beauty of Seaview! Hopefully we will be back. ...

Our stay at Solas was amazing. The property is beautiful. Everything you could need was provided. Even a washing machine! The upside down set up of the house was very interesting making the most of the views of the sea. The games room was the best idea as i have a 2 year old and a 5 year old. There was even littlest petshop toys. It kept them entertained when we couldnt go out. The house is literally a 2/3 min walk from the quiet, sandy beach where we spent a lot of time. The views from Solas are breathtaking. I spent ages watching boats going back and forth. (Didnt realise i loved washing up so much) and definetely didn't think boat watching was a thing! The village of Seaview is lovely with a little community shop, ice cream place, gift shop and the old fort pub. Everyone was so friendly as well. Like another review mentioned we also got an indian delivered on our first night and it was probably the best indian i have had. I would reccomend to everyone to stay at Solas. I didnt want to leave and even now still miss waking up to the boats going by. Definetely would like to go back. ...

This was our third stay at this property. It is well located with excellent views over the Solent. The community shop is very close and is excellent. The house is well equipped, tastefully decorated and clean. Would recommend a stay here, we would certainly book again....

A very pleasing property in a great location. Beach walks are just a few minutes away. Very warm and comfortable throughout with a well equipped kitchen. The dining area was a lovely place to gather for meals. We had an excellent curry delivered from the village on our first night after a long journey. The bedrooms and beds were pristine.
