A very pleasing property in a great location. Beach walks are just a few minutes away. Very warm and comfortable throughout with a well equipped kitchen. The dining area was a lovely place to gather for meals. We had an excellent curry delivered from the village on our first night after a long journey. The bedrooms and beds were pristine. Large, spacious modern house with excellent equipment (including SHARP knives). Very well maintained and decorated. This is clearly a house used by the owners. Parking on drive for two cars and a very pleasant rear garden with table and chairs. The lovely upstairs balcony has the sun in the morning and the garden has the sun in the afternoon. Walk down into Seaview was shorter than we had anticipated. Excellent community shop and a small range of other shops. About ten minute drive to a huge Tesco superstore in Ryde. Highly recommend the Seaview Hotel for meals - the bar / bistro is fine and the slightly posher Aquitania equally good. In fact most of the menu items were shared so little reason to worry about booking the Aquitania. The Old Fort is equally good. We were blessed with fine weather (late September) throughout our stay. ...

Cannot recommend Classic Cottages services or this property highly enough. Solas is clean, comfortable and very well equipped, a true home from home. The views are spectacular and the location is fantastic with a community shop, lovely cafe (Lily ‘s) and a great bar/restaurant (The Old Fort, we ate here twice during our weeks stay) all a very short and very scenic walk away. We had a fabulous stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return....
