Fabulous property cannot recommend highly enough.

Mrs Kent July 2025

We found everything at The Newstead to be perfect; clean, comfortable, great open-plan living, safe, enclosed garden etc. The sauna and cinema room were an added bonus. We were a 3 generation family group; 6 adults and 2 children (2 years and 9 months) and this house suited all of us. We will be booking for next year! ...

We really loved the property, it was beautifully decorated, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a great stay. However, a few cleanliness issues let it down slightly. There was a strong dog smell on the living room blankets, pet hair throughout, and some old food found by our dog. The cinema room and top floor windows also needed a more thorough clean, which meant we didn’t fully enjoy those spaces. Good house to stay in for large family or two, good amenities, and short walk to village centre with two pubs and pizza restaurant. Beach about 15 minute walk away, not far. Overall very good

Mr O'Brien August 2024

Great cottage, great location and great beaches.Kids loved games room and easy to walk to beaches and pubs as parking near the beaches is a nightmare unless you are super early. Good local bus service if you want to walk to Newquay using the tidal bridges and hop on the bus back. Crantock beach is lovely with takeaway coffees and ice creams but can be crowed. Porth Joke is lovely. Easier parking, unspoilt (no facilities or coastguard ) and a short walk down from the C Spa and Bowgie Inn. Highly recommended. 2nd time we have stayed at the cottage. Nice fireplace and TV fully loaded with Netflix, Prime, Disney plus etc so just log on to use....
