The garden area is lovely and is the perfect spot for a light lunch.
Gwithian beach is a short drive away, and perfect if you enjoy surfing.
Porthleven is close by and has a sweet little harbour to walk around.
Enjoy a day or evening out in Porthleven. Watch the boats bobbing about in the harbour, and then enjoy a lunch or dinner in one of the harbour restaurants.
Praa Sands is perfect for a good walk and to blow away those cobwebs, plus is dog-friendly too from the end of September until Easter.
Tehidy Country Park is a magical place for a visit. There are picnic spots and also a café serving delicious refreshments.

The whole family had a lovely week at Primrose Cottage. It was cosy and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of space inside and outside for all 6 of us. It was a great location and lots of options for days out including to St Ives (on the train from St Erth), Porthleven and St Agnes, as well as a lovely beach at Gwithian (would recommend the Jam Pot cafe). ...

We enjoyed our week at Primrose Cottage. It's a lovely cottage and is very well equipped with everything you would need. The kitchen particularly is like a home from home. Bedrooms are very comfortable and the showers are very good. The outside areas were very nice but some of the garden furniture could do with a power wash. The benches on the lawn area were covered in lichen. The welcome pack was much appreciated. The drive to beautiful Gwithian beach was only about 15 minutes. We went to nearby Shires restaurant which was very good and only a couple of minutes drive. You do need a car as the road is not suitable for walking. We would certainly stay again. A gorgeous Cornish cottage, full of thoughtful touches. The owners had thought of everything. Loved the quiet location, 3 gardens, good WiFi and the very well-equipped kitchen. Best beach for us was Gwithian and best restaurant, Ombak in Gwithian.

Beautiful old cottage, in a peaceful location, lovingly restored . Comfy beds & sofas , an old rayburn to keep you cosy & brilliant for cooking with too. Fantastic beaches within easy distance , Porthleven is lovely . Delicious pastys from Philps in Praze in Beeble literally down the road. We felt very relaxed & rested after our stay at Primrose. ...

The cottage was stunning, the welcome pack was lovely, even for the dogs. The doggy chest was amazing. There were plenty of games & DVD'S to choose from. The gardens were so pretty. A very peaceful place. We loved it ??
