Lovely property, beautifully appointed. Lots of walks on the doorstep for active walkers. Fabulous peaceful location away from the hustle and bustle of everyday living. Sidmouth is a lovely town with the fabulous Connaught gardens a must-see. Shirley was very generous in leaving a delicious cake and essentials like milk, fruit juice etc. and Mike was very informative. The owners were on hand should any problems arise but otherwise discreet and in no way an interference. We would have no hesitation in recommending Cider Barn as a delightful place in which to spend a holiday. ...

A lovely cottage in a peaceful location. On arrival we found a delicious Lemon Drizzle cake, apple juice and milk which was much appreciated after a long hot journey. We felt welcome immediately and settled in to enjoy our holiday. We especially enjoyed the wooded walk from the door which was useful during the heatwave.The river walk from the village to Tipton St John was another lovely walk where we didn't need to use the car You can also make this a circular walk from the cottage and back . We were sad to leave and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this lovely home from home. Thankyou....

This was a lovely holiday,beautiful accommodation & beautiful views, the cider barn had everything you could of needed inside,very comfortable large beds & lovely en-suite bathrooms lovely & clean everywhere,we couldn’t of wished for a better place.we had a lovely welcome from the owners,the accommodation is central to many places to visit around Devon.we will recommend the cider barn to family & friends & would definitely go back again....

My husband and I and my sister have just returned from a 5 night stay at Cider Barn. It is set in beautiful surroundings, very tranquil. When sitting outside it was lovely to see the sheep and just hear the birds singing. Cider Barn is a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and well equipped. The beds are extremely comfy. It was lovely to have the hosts next door. Mike was a fountain of local knowledge and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Shirley had left a delicious lemon drizzle cake for us along with milk and local apple juice, a very welcome touch. We have no hesitation in recommending Cider Barn and hope to return....

Cider Barn is delightfully situated. Quiet with a lovely outlook. Inside all was very well planned, clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here as a base for our East Devon holiday.
