We have enjoyed several lovely holidays in the Cider Barn. The quality of the accommodation is very high and it is situated in a beautiful rural location. The owners Shirley and Mike are always very welcoming and the lemon drizzle cake ticks all the right boxes. It's an ideal location to explore South East Devon and South West Dorset., even places like Dartmouth are only just over an hour away by car. There are a number of National Trust properties within reasonable driving distance. The seaside towns of Lyme Regis, and Sidmouth are well worth visiting as is the village of Beer. I have no hesitation in recommending the Cider Barn as holiday accommodation....

The property is great, cleanliness, peace and view idyllic, however beware of the sharp turn and difficult steep slope in the road as you enter through the gate, the driver looses visibility in and out which makes the property access, very challenging....

It really is a lovely property and in such a peaceful location, with lovely views and access to fantastic countryside walks. Such a fantastic rural location in Devon often comes with single track, undulating country roads. The sloped entrance/exit from Cider Barn onto such a road, is very typical of such a location, but easily manageable with a little caution, and we hope you agree, well worth it for such a fantastic property and tranquil, picturesque location. Cider Barn is in a beautiful spot, very quiet with gorgeous countryside views in al directions, within a small village. Plenty of very nice places to eat, and the little towns all along the coast, Sidmouth Branscombe, Beer, Budleigh Salterton etc each worth visiting. We enjoyed the tram ride from Colyton to Seaton, and interesting river trip at Exmouth. Beautiful place to stay....
