1 St Josephs was a first class base for our week in the Isle of Wight. Spacious and extremely well equipped, it had a warm, homely and inviting feel. Both the kitchen and the sitting room overlooked the sea and the passing ships, which meant that every day you were reminded that you were by the seaside. The terrace was really good for the feel of outdoor living. Ventnor was a great location for travelling out to all parts of the island. For us, this property easily earned its five star rating. ...

A fantastic apartment, so light and bright and comfortable, with all the equipment you could ever need. It would have been useful to know there was a tumble drier and clothes horse ahead of time as I could have packed lighter (instead it felt like we packed everything but the kitchen sink!). We had the most wonderful stay at 1 St Joseph's and felt at home in the beautiful apartment. The beds were all super comfy, views from the kitchen and sitting room to die for and perfect location for exploring Bonchurch and Ventnor by foot. The welcome note waiting for us was full of tips and warmth. And the bookcase had a better reading selection than our local library. It helped that I was half way through 'Lucky Jim' at home and hadn't brought it with us. Could not believe it when I saw it sitting there nestled amongst a few other Penguin classics.
