Thimble Cottage is a little gem on the edge of Pendeen, a fantastic Cornish village which has all a holidaymaker could wish for. From the cottage there are many footpaths across the fields to the coastal path or the moors above - we hardly used the car all week and the dog was a very happy lad. The cottage itself was very cosy, especially when we were in front of the log burner on a cold night. It is very well appointed - beautiful decor, a monsoon shower, comfy beds, high quality bedding and a full range of kitchen equipment. Don't miss out on a walk from the village to Pendeen lighthouse and then walk north along the coastal path to tiny exquisite Boat Cove and then on Portheras beach. Cornwall at it's best. A cream tea at Moomaid in Zennor is a treat that should not be missed!...

Cottage well equipped and decorated. Quiet and easily accessed. Excellent location for moorland and coastal walks. Also plenty of eating places within walking distance.

Really enjoyed thimble cottage the touches and furnishings were top notch . The location was good and quiet and Dee the dog loved the fields opposite as well as some beaches. The housekeeping team led by Ann were great I will certainly be returning ...
