Take a trip to Padstow to indulge in award-winning cuisine, browse amongst the shops and galleries, take a boat trip or visit historic Prideaux Place.

Superb accommodation in a quiet Cornish village with its own tea room, pub, cafe & cricket pitch for the hot sunny Sunday afternoon with a beer in hand. Short drives to Newquay, Wadebridge & Padstow and a 20 minute walk to the beach at Mawgan Porth or slightly longer to Watergate Bay but both are clean & tidy. Loved this place & highly recommended . If visiting North Cornwall again we will want to stay here again and thanks to the owners for letting us stay....

We had a lovely September holiday at the Forge. A mixture of small village living with countryside and quick access to the sea and surrounding areas. The cottage is georgous with good parking. We loved it.

Forge Cottage has everything you need to switch off and enjoy this beautiful area of Cornwall. The house is both cosy and spacious allowing guest to come together but also have their own space to relax. Forge Cottage is clean and modern and has everything you need, even an outside hose and hanging hooks for sandy beach wear! St Mawgan is small village, but with wonderful amenities - including a wonderful local shop with a tea shop attached. Mawgan Porth Beach is perfect for families, with lifeguards, rock pools to explore, a surf school and the best Toasties I ever had. I would definately love to reture to Forge Cottage. ...

Beautiful, clean cottage in a great location to explore a lovely part of Cornwall. The house had everything we needed as a family of 4. The village is nestled away nicely, but Newquay, Padstow, Trevose Head are all within 20-30 minutes. The beach of Mawgan Porth is even closer, only 5 minutes away which is picturesque. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would not hesitate booking again. ...
