The little church at Church Cove, made famous by the BBC series Poldark, is a few minutes down the road, with National Trust parking nearby.
Sandy at low tide and lifeguarded in high season plus toilets and a little hut serviing snacks and drinks.
Spend time building sandcastles or pebble towers, dip your toes in the water or surf the waves, the choice is yours.
Pretty Porthleven harbour is only five miles away. This 'foodie destination' has lots of cafes, restaurants and quaint shops.
The Helford River has much to offer the visitor whether you like to explore by foot or on the water.
Kynance Cove is a highlight of the Lizard peninsula.

Coverack Bay has a lovely sandy beach at high tide and a windsurfing school.

The Cow Shed is a very well equipped holiday cottage that is very comfortable and quiet. The location is excellent for a number of local attractions both on the coast and inland. It is also only a half hour drive to the north coast.

Very comfortable and very well positioned, not only for the Lizard itself but Helston is close by as are good roads to other parts of Cornwall. The Cow Shed was a lovely place to stay! Comfortable, cosy and well equipped with everything we needed. We particularly appreciated the baby bits provided, which made our holiday with our toddler so much easier.
