The little church at Church Cove, more recently made famous by the BBC series Poldark, is a few minutes down the road, with National Trust parking nearby.
Sandy at low tide and lifeguarded in high season plus toilets and a little hut serving snacks and drinks.
Build sandcastles or pebble towers, dip your toes in the water or surf the waves, the choice is yours.
Pretty Porthleven harbour is only five miles away. This 'foodie' place has lots of cafes, restaurants and quaint shops.
The Helford River has much to offer the visitor whether you like to explore by foot or on the water.
Kynance Cove is a highlight of The Lizard Peninsula.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the Cow Shed. It was in a beautiful, quiet location with lovely views and the front garden was a little sun trap! The accommodation was extremely well equipped and the owners seem to have thought of everything. Great location for exploring our favourite area on the Lizard Peninsula. We would certainly think about staying here again next time we are down....

We had a wonderful week staying in The Cow Shed. The property was spotless and very comfortable, with a very well equipped kitchen. Brilliant location to explore The Lizard, with stunning coastal walks and beaches. Our daughter was very keen to see the cows and enjoyed a trip to meet them one evening. Would definitely return for another stay and recommend to friends/family....

Will recommend this property to anyone who expects a beautiful property and surroundings. On entering the track to the barn a beautiful wildflower patch has been left. A joy to see every day.

We had a fab stay at the Cow Shed. It has everything you need, beautifully renovated and comfy. Also in a great location near Church Cove which is stunning.
