The little church at Church Cove, more recently made famous by the BBC series Poldark, is a few minutes down the road, with National Trust parking nearby.
Sandy at low tide and lifeguarded in high season plus toilets and a little hut serving snacks and drinks.
Build sandcastles or pebble towers, dip your toes in the water or surf the waves, the choice is yours.
Pretty Porthleven harbour is only five miles away. This 'foodie' place has lots of cafes, restaurants and quaint shops.
The Helford River has much to offer the visitor whether you like to explore by foot or on the water.
Kynance Cove is a highlight of The Lizard Peninsula.

Coverack Bay has a lovely sandy beach and a windsurfing school.

The "Cow Shed" is well appointed and comfortable. The open plan kitchen/dining area/lounge works well, while the TV and Wi-Fi reception is fine. The bedrooms are comfortable with good storage and the bathrooms are more than adequate with lots of hot water. The location is very quiet and suitable for beach holidays and good walks within easy reach as well as making it easy to visit places of interest. Shops and supermarkets and not far away at Helston, while Falmouth is an easy drive to visit more shops and restaurants. The Maritime Museum is worth a visit and a boat trip along the River Fal is to be enjoyed. Overall, a well appointed property in a good location....

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at the Cow Shed. It was in a beautiful, quiet location with lovely views and the front garden was a little sun trap! The accommodation was extremely well equipped and the owners seem to have thought of everything. Great location for exploring our favourite area on the Lizard Peninsula. We would certainly think about staying here again next time we are down....
