Wonderful place, tasteful decoration where real thought has been put into everything and its place in the house which makes this a real home away from home, you instantly feel comfortable. We had amazing weather for our first visit but even on the dull day it was perfect for just sitting and looking at the compelling daily life of the Solent. Would advise guests to get the John-Ambler shipping website bookmarked as you are forever wondering where the Ships are off to or coming from. Also just ten minutes walk back towards Ryde there is a lovely old Fort and park, great for kids and of course Seaview offers good food, drinking and a few shops. Also bring your binoculars, not only the seabird life out front there is a nature reserve around the back which whilst not big is a nice little walk too. We cant wait to come back, I think this gem will be a regular for us, plus we didnt realise we could bring more than the 4 of us and still be comfortable, 6 could easily stay here. A lovely holiday home right by the sea with wonderful views from the 1st floor balcony, you can sit for hours just watching the sailing boats. There is also a lovely walk from Seaview along the boardwalk into Ryde, with a lovely café to stop at on the way called the Dell. The swimming pool is a lovely bonus and the garden is a little sun trap, we were lucky enough to use it as we had some sunny days. ...

This is lovely house with everything you could need. Clean and comfortable - It felt like a home from home. Perfect even with little ones - our two and four year olds loved 'our little yellow holiday house' as they referred to it during our stay! The pool is a lovely little added bonus and the views across the solent are fantastic. lovely location. Would definitely go back! ...
