The perfect holiday home for our family (2 adults, 5 children plus 1 large dog). Comfortable beds, clean sheets, feather duvets, plenty of good quality kitchen equipment and crockery, a short walk to the shops and beach. There was plenty of space for our dog crate in the hall at the bottom of the stairs so she was happy too. Bembridge doesn't just accept dogs they welcome them, which really made our holiday as there was no need to leave the dog in the house. And our long wheel base van just squeezed into the space on the road immediately outside the house. So don't be put off the property if you have multi vehicles. It is a large house and ideal for large families. I consider it may be possible to park 2 very small cars on the drive, one on each half of the drive, plus 2 vehicles on the road immediately infront of each drive entrance....

Our second visit to Orchard house, we appreciate it’s position in the village but. Found parking a bit of a trial as we had 2 cars neither of which were ‘small’. The kitchen is very well equipped with plenty of plates, pans etc. The garden is beautiful having both shade and sun and an excellent place for our dog to run off energy. Some things need a bit of updating but overall an excellent place to stay....

Orchard House is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. The garden is beautiful. The beds are so comfortable, we slept like logs! There was 6 adults and 2 kids and easily enough room not to get on each other's nerves (lovely front room with a DVD player and lots of DAD'S to watch, kept the kids entertained in the evening). The location is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back. Recommend the Village Inn for food (outstanding) and a lovely welcome. The Artisan bakery does the best Pain au chocolate - out of this world! ...
