Lovely overlooking lake.saw kingfisher couple of times.Convenient for visiting any where on island,nice walk to private beach,and having peacocks visiting was certainly different,all in all great weeks holiday.

Barton Manor Lake Cottage is a very special place in the grounds of a country estate. It has its own attractions (wildlife, scenery, private beach, forest and walks) and is less than 10 minutes drive from east cowes ferry. The cottage is perfect for a family of 4 and has everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The interior is quite big and has an excellent layout. there is plenty of space in each room as well as a huge surrounding garden with shade by the pond. Bonus for us was having a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, ovens and hob. Might sound a bit boring but those kitchen items made our stay much easier and more comfortable! Beautiful peaceful location yet still convenient for exploring. Cottage very generously sized and good quality fixtures and fittings. We all commented we could live here! Would recommend to family and friends and will likely be back next year.
