Barton Manor Lake Cottage is a very special place in the grounds of a country estate. It has its own attractions (wildlife, scenery, private beach, forest and walks) and is less than 10 minutes drive from east cowes ferry. The cottage is perfect for a family of 4 and has everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay. The interior is quite big and has an excellent layout. there is plenty of space in each room as well as a huge surrounding garden with shade by the pond. Bonus for us was having a washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, ovens and hob. Might sound a bit boring but those kitchen items made our stay much easier and more comfortable! The cottage is in a fantastic location and extremely spacious but we were disappointed as we had no radiator heating throughout the cottage as the water sauce heating had not been working for a while repairs to the system seemed to be unsuccessful, the weather was now in autumn mode which made the cottage cold and the wood burner was only capable to heat the lounge....
