Mount View Retreat sits in a picture-perfect wild flower meadow.
Nestled in a spacious meadow alongside Mount View Sunrise Safari Tent and Mount View Horizon Safari Tent. There is one other hideaway on site but in a different meadow separated by a hedge. All hideaways have plenty of privacy.
There is a handy honesty-shop on site, complete with washing machine.
What a view to wake up to!
Definitely worth a visit (just a five minute drive away) are nearby majestic St Michael's Mount and glorious Marazion beach.
The popular village of Mousehole is also close by, with its great restaurants, galleries and pubs.
A short drive away, Perranuthnoe beach is perfect for sandcastle building.
Bustling St Ives is a short drive away, perfect for a day out exploring, with its wonderful beaches, ancient cobbled streets and numerous great eateries.
The hot tub sits behind the fence for privacy and shelter and, just like the hut, looks straight out to sea.

We’ve spent a week at the end of August 2025 in the Shepherd’s hut with our 8 and 3 year old children and we loved it! We’re used to glamping and have stayed in different huts and safari tents over the years and this one is one of the best we’ve stayed at, if not THE best! The view is outstanding, the place is peaceful, ideally located with loads of places to visit within a short distance. The hut is nicely decorated with plenty of equipment. The hot tub is a great addition and stays clean throughout the week as David the owner checks it once in a while. Really appreciated as from our experience it’s not always the case as in other places we’ve stayed at we often ended up with a not so clean water at the end of your stay. The sauna is a real treat too. It’s huge, very cosy and again the view of St Michael’s Mount from there is lovely. The owner David is very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for places to visit. We usually don’t like going on holiday to the same place twice but we are really considering coming back here again so that says it all! ...

We had the most wonderful time. David the owner was really nice, left a welcome hamper and, milk in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Mount View had everything we needed, with wonderful views over St Michael’s Mount, enjoyed even more from the hot tub. Would definitely return....

We stayed at the retreat for our daughter's 10th birthday. The shepherds hut is absolutely beautiful with the most spectacular views, a lovely garden area and a hot tub which was enjoyed by everyone. The wagon is thoughtfully decorated with lots of nice touches from the owner who was charming and helpful. Plenty to do in the area. We enjoyed walking the south west coastal path near Zennor, a day at St Michael's Mount and the adjacent beach and soaking up the views from the wagon. We would definitely return. ...
