Wow – Mount View Retreat really does have it all – stunning panoramic views of Mount's Bay and beyond, an en suite complete with flushing loo and hot water, its own private hot tub and more! The first in the spacious meadow with its safari tent neighbours (Mount View Horizon and Mount View Sunrise) beyond, perfect for couples and small families alike, with both under-floor heating and a wood-burner this charming retreat stays toasty all year round.

The open plan living area has a fully-fitted kitchen including a full-size fridge and electric cooker – ideal for cooking up a storm and then dining al fresco on your very own patio, taking in the fresh air and amazing view. If you're looking for a cosy night in, there is even a TV, so light the wood-burner and snuggle up on the sofa. WiFi is also provided so you can research the best places to explore, visit and eat and drink at until your heart's content. The sleeping arrangements consist of a king-size double bed (is this really glamping!?) and pull-down bunk-beds (2'6'' wide) to make the most of the space. The modern shower-room is situated at one end of the hut for your convenience and comfort.

Bask in the sunshine on your own private patio during the day and relax in the hot tub by night, staring at the stars and drinking in the tranquility. Along with the cooking facilities provided in the hut, there is also a fire-pit barbecue on-site, perfect for toasting marshmallows while story-telling.

If you feel like getting out and about and exploring, there are plenty of places to visit nearby – majestic St Michael's Mount, the renowned surfing beaches at Sennen Cove, Gwithian and Porthcurno, the ever-popular town of St Ives, the bustling seaside town of Penzance and the charming fishing village of Mousehole to name but a few.

The wonderful Sculpture Gardens at Tremenheere are only a 10 minute walk away and there is a lovely on-site cafe. Or how about taking a day trip to the stunning Isles of Scilly – the ferry sails from nearby Penzance. The 'St Michael's Way' footpath is a stone's throw away, accessed through beautiful fields, heading to Penzance in one direction and St Ives in the other. There is also a traditional Cornish pub a mere half mile away if you fancy eating out but staying closer to home.

The on-site honesty-shop, complete with washing machine, is well-stocked with seasonal products and everyday essentials, so you don't even need to get back in the car if you don't want to. The private parking-area is just 50 yards away and there will be a wheelbarrow at your disposal on arrival, so you can transport your luggage with ease.

For the children, there is a play area tucked away at the top of the meadow, complete with a trampoline, swing, climbing frame, slide, football goal and badminton/volleyball net - perfect for letting off steam in the fresh air. All in all, Mount View Retreat provides a spectacular glamping experience.
