Nearby Lyme Regis has something for everyone, Dinosaur and fossil museums, fishing trips, some great cafes, pubs and restaurants, or you may choose just to watch the world go by.
The Axe Valley - travel alongside the wild bird reserve on the tram from Colyton.

Excellent accommodation in a lovely village. Village has good facilities- two general stores, pubs, cafes, garden centre, pharmacy and more. There is a playpark for children and the tramway for Seaton is within walking distance.

This property is the best holiday home by far. We have come three times here already and still are awed when we open the door. It is cosy, spacious, simply wonderful in a sweet little village. Highly recommended! We like it so much that we have booked it for only two people and twice for just four people, although it sleeps six :-D...

This is a lovely , welcoming and clean holiday home , obviously much loved by the owners. Every care and attention to detail is taken. It is a spacious home so even with six people you never feel crowded at all. There is plenty to do in the locality , even if you just want to walk around Colyton there is lots of local interest and small shops. We enjoyed watching the wildlife around the river and then calling into the nearby teashop for a cream tea. We have been coming here for ten years so I think that says it all. ...
