A beautiful cottage (barn) & gardens, as well as the views from the upper field. The beds were very comfortable & the bed linen was nice quality too (if you don't sleep too well with light in the bedroom, bring an eye mask as the velux windows do allow light in). A nice & spacious holiday house for a family of four, well equipped & we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, thwe owners were lovely too! ...

This is a really lovely comfortable well laid out cottage. Set in a stunning location, peaceful and secluded, amazing grounds, and wonderful surroundings, yet very close to amenities, a farm shop, Kingsbridge and about 15 minutes from Hope Cove and environs. We could not fault it - my husband had to work and the super fast Broadband lived up to its name. The history of this incredible find is a bonus - the grounds stunning and guests are free to explore the extensive gardens. The patio area is secluded and a hot spot and for those who like a bench in a garden there is one at the back of Leigh barn. The bed is the best we ever slept in on holiday. The hosts are welcoming but not intrusive and are genuine custodians and guardians of an exceptionally unique place to stay. Highly recommended....

A comfortable autumnal short break at Leigh Barn. The setting and wider gardens are stunning. We particularly enjoyed being able to walk to Farm Shop & cafe, as well as several nearby footpaths. A good location for exploring the South Hams area without too much driving....

This cottage is delightful, being furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The cottage is set in a large glorious garden which we were encouraged to enjoy. The owners of the property are very welcoming. However, guests should be aware that the cottage is rather remote with no shop or pub etc. within easy walking distance. ...

Leigh Barn is a stunning peaceful retreat, yet Aune Valley Meat farm shop is just 0.6 miles ( 3 minutes in the car ) and Churchstow is 1.6 miles ( less than 5 minutes in the car ) There is a great village shop and pub here, as well as at Loddiswell, 2 miles away ( just over 5 minutes in the car ) We very much hope to welcome you back in the future.
