We appreciated the welcoming 'hosts' with their friendly dog. We thought the accomodation was comfotable and enjoyed the beautful peaceful gardens. We were pleased to stay in the beautiful South Hams area and make the most of the ranging beaches all quite near and we loved the coastal and estuary walks. We found lots of interesting places to eat nearby and all in all had a most enjoyable week - thank you...

Very beautiful and, above all, peaceful property. Delightful owners who are "there if you need them" but otherwise leave you to enjoy the house and the garden on your own. Sense of calm and being "deep in the countryside" - even though the property actually is quite close to Kingsbridge and other facilities....

It was a privilege to stay on this beautiful mini-estate set down a lane in a secluded and quiet area but 15mins walk to a fab farm shop with cafe, 7 mins drive to a decent sized Tesco and a few minutes drive to 2 pubs. There is a lot of history attached to this property and it was a real treat to stay here with access to acres of gardens and a meadow. The barn itself is spacious, warm and cosy. The bed is very comfortable with good quality linens. I would suggest you take an eye mask if light wakes you up. The kitchen is well equipped and the sofas very comfortable. Ideally set up for those who plan to work here with a desk on the first floor in the bedroom which also has a sofa and chairs. Good wi-fi. Very pleasant hosts who have recently taken over the property. ...

A beautiful cottage (barn) & gardens, as well as the views from the upper field. The beds were very comfortable & the bed linen was nice quality too (if you don't sleep too well with light in the bedroom, bring an eye mask as the velux windows do allow light in). This is a really lovely comfortable well laid out cottage. Set in a stunning location, peaceful and secluded, amazing grounds, and wonderful surroundings, yet very close to amenities, a farm shop, Kingsbridge and about 15 minutes from Hope Cove and environs. We could not fault it - my husband had to work and the super fast Broadband lived up to its name. The history of this incredible find is a bonus - the grounds stunning and guests are free to explore the extensive gardens. The patio area is secluded and a hot spot and for those who like a bench in a garden there is one at the back of Leigh barn. The bed is the best we ever slept in on holiday. The hosts are welcoming but not intrusive and are genuine custodians and guardians of an exceptionally unique place to stay. Highly recommended....
