Quietly situated in a good location to access many places of interest with walks on the doorstep, the cottage was well appointed. We were unlucky to have a few wet days and unfortunately the cottage was not equipped to cope with wet coats etc and the central heating was controlled remotely so could not be adjusted to suit individual needs. Hence the 3 star review. ...

We're delighted that you enjoyed Sunnyside Cottage and the fabulous location. Although the heating is controlled remotely by an app, the owner is only too happy to adjust to suit your needs, and don't forget about that wonderful wood burner to keep you warm! It's a shame that the weather wasn't kind to you; we hope that we can welcome you back in sunnier times. Julie, Customer Support...

After a lovely week away in Sunnyside we received feedback directly from the owners that we left the house not as expected! As a customer I feel it should be us giving the feedback? We were generally happy with the cottage and our only thoughts why we received this feedback is that upon exit we left the used towels in the shower base, the dishwasher on clean as we left and didn’t vacuum the upstairs. 2 additional things of note was the shower door fell off onto my 10 year old son and the light pull switch in the bathroom came unattached in my hand. Disappointing end to a family holiday taking the edge off our memories…. Watch out for the feedback if it’s not spotless ‘customers’...

We're really sorry to read you were disappointed by the comments from the owners following your departure. We want our guests to relax and enjoy their stay but we do ask that guests leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, and report any damage at the time. We're so sorry if this took the shine from a lovely holiday and hope we can welcome you to one of our alternative properties in the future. Julie, Customer Support...

Plenty of space. Dog safe garden. Pretty cottage. Lovely welcome pack with tea, coffee milk biscuits scones and clotted cream. Unfortunately the weather was terrible for almost all the week and even public footpaths were difficult to negotiate because of the mud so we had to use the car to go anywhere. Busy roads! I imagine had the weather been kind we would have enjoyed the experience a lot more than we did. ...

Wonderful cottage in a fab location. Sunnyside is such a gorgeous cottage located in a quiet spot only a few mins drive from perranporth. We would definitely stay here again!

A lovely quirky, typically Cornish cottage in a quiet location a little inland from Perranporth. Good for exploring all over Cornwall. We made good use of the BBQ and the summerhouse. The Wi-Fi is also very good so streaming from the smart tv was not a problem. We found the parking with two cars a bit awkward but with a bit of jiggering we managed. All in all a very comfortable stay and we would definitely recommend Sunnyside cottage....
