Beautiful well equipped cottage . Usually opt for the sea view cottage so that we can walk everywhere. Tricky to walk to the beach with all your boards etc so had to drive but you get what you pay for and would need to pay a lot more to be on the beach ...

Sunnyside is a lovely old cottage, well equipped and handy for walks and places to visit. Particularly good if you have a dog as the small garden is grassed, and inside is nice and spacious.

Loved the cottage, excellent base for walks and trips out. Very cosy cottage.

We really enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Sunnyside as a family of 4 and our dog. The cottage itself is so spacious inside and we never felt on top of each other. We were really impressed how they had provided everything we needed for our stay and we could have happily stayed here for another week. We would 100% book here again as our youngest child kept on telling us how much he loved it there. Perranporth is only 5 minutes drive up the road and Newquay also not very far at all. For a day out further afield, i’d recommend The Lost Gardens of Heligan. It’s dog friendly and great for children too. ...

Sunnyside cottage is a lovely place for a holiday! Two very nice bedrooms, one en suite. The kitchen and living room are lovely, with a log stove (logs supplied) - although we didn't use it, as the heating kicked in. The garden is enclosed, and reasonably well sheltered - it gets sunny in the morning, but not in the evening. Fortunately there's a sun room in the garden! Plenty of room for two cars. All the equipment worked well. There's a notice saying they'd rather dogs didn't go upstairs - practically speaking, that was a bit challenging, as the provided stairgate could only be lent against the bottom, and it fell over fairly easily. The village itself is reasonably close to Perranporth - there's no pub or shop in the village, but that didn't matter. There's good walking and running nearby, especially on the Perran dunes, which are magnificent, enormous and beautiful. The beach at the end of the dunes is probably a 45-55 minute walk, and they're stunning - you'll need a map on your phone! Elsewhere, mostly the footpaths are good, but about half of them are virtually impassable and unsigned, unfortunately just how "cornwall" is. The gardener and cleaner popped in mid-holiday, mowed the lawn, brought clean bedding. Cleaner texted me to make sure everything was OK. Lovely people to have a natter with. Two things to mention: I would say that the staircase is not great for anyone with mobility issues, it's narrow and steep, it was fine for us. And the third single bedroom is between the stairs and the en suite bedroom - perfectly fine, but anyone going to the master bedroom will walk past your bed. Again, worked for us, but I didn't think that was absolutely clear on the description....
