Sea Cottage is in a unique position with direct access to the beach and the Tarka Cycle Trail, with the local cricket club and access track to the cottage on the other side of the Cottage.
Walk down into the town and catch the ferry over to Appledore.
Instow's sandy beach is wonderful at low and high tide.
Sea Cottage is tucked away in the sand dunes to the left of this photograph of Instow.
The passenger ferry will take you from Appledore to Instow during the summer months.
The Instow Cricket Club is a stone's throw from the cottage. This must be the best location to watch a summer match!
Woolacombe is one of many stunning north coast beaches.
This is the seemingly endless beach at nearby Saunton Sands.
Charming Clovelly is a short car journey away.
Sit by the harbour at Clovelly and take in the lovely view of the village.
Take the passenger ferry to Lundy Island from Bideford for a day of bird watching.
Have a day of adventure at North Devon Wake Park where you can wakeboard, paddle board or enjoy the giant aquapark!

A beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Alison was a brilliant host. Available if we needed her. The added extras of a postcard from instow before we arrived, homemade Swedish gooey cake, prosecco and fresh flowers was such a nice touch. We have stayed in many holiday cottages before and the added extras made all the difference. Lovely place to stay right on the beach,cricket ground on your doorstep,instow inn with in walking distance nice food and friendly and if your lucky you will get see the marines practice on the beach
