Sea Cottage is in a unique position with direct access to the beach and the Tarka Cycle Trail, with the local cricket club and access lane to the cottage on the other side of the cottage.
Walk down into the town and catch the ferry over to Appledore.
Instow's sandy beach is wonderful at low and high tide.
Sea Cottage is tucked away in the sand dunes to the left of this photograph of Instow.
The passenger ferry will take you from Appledore to Instow during the summer months.
The Instow Cricket Club is a stone's throw from the cottage. This must be the best location to watch a summer match!
This is the seemingly endless beach at nearby Saunton Sands.
Visit the beautiful beach of Woolacombe.
Charming Clovelly is a short car journey away.
Sit by the harbour at Clovelly and take in the lovely view of the village.
Take the passenger ferry to Lundy Island from Bideford for a day of bird watching.
Have a day of adventure at North Devon Wake Park where you can wakeboard, paddle board or enjoy the giant aquapark!

Had a lovely relaxing week at Sea Cottage Instow. Beautiful little cottage on the edge of a small pretty village, beautiful beach, loved the cricket club which is on the doorstep and was very welcoming. Enjoyed daily beach walks with Elsie the dog and many beautiful sunsets, visually stunning. Cottage has tidy, dog safe garden and a very comfortable living space. Would highly recommend....

We had a very relaxing stay and found Sea cottage to be a lovely accommodation in a very tranquil spot. The added plus of having the Tarka trail right outside the back gate was superb for dog walks and cycling. It was also lovely to walk along the beach. Instow is pretty and quiet, with just a restaurant, deli and some pubs, it made it a lovely relaxing stay. We would definitely stay again. ...

This was our 3rd stay at Sea Cottage and as we have a dog who loves the beach the location being under 5 minutes to the sand dunes is perfect. The cottage is compact but has everything you need when on holiday and has ample parking close by. We particularly enjoy spending time in the pretty garden which has seating. Another plus is there are plenty of dog friendly places to eat or drink a short walk away....
