Anchorage was the perfect place to stay for our family holiday in Port Isaac. The views and location were absolutely incredible. Even the garden views to the back of the house were lovely. The house is a short if steepish walk to Port Gaverne where the cove is beautiful and perfect for swimming. With a lovely bar and hotel. Port Isaac is a 15 min walk in the opposite direction down hill and just gorgeous! The house felt warm and welcoming on arrival and had everything we needed and more. The gardens, front and back, were stunning. Decor and furnishings were lovely and stylish, the “lived in” feeling only added to the relaxed charm and atmosphere of the house. We’ll definitely plan to return soon. ...

The house is perfect for large groups and the location is wonderful - we enjoyed many walks along the coastal path and it was only a short drive to the beach for surfing. We were particularly appreciative of the drying room which meant we never had to climb into cold, wet wetsuits! The view from the living room and bedrooms at the front of the house is incredible. It was wonderful to go to sleep with the sound of the waves. We loved the downstairs living space which was so cosy, especially with the twinkling Christmas tree. Thank you so much....
