Our second stay at Polgorran was just as wonderful as the first, and we enjoyed every moment of our time there. It truly is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The cottage is in a lovely, peaceful location, surrounded by beautiful gardens and an impressive driveway, creating a wonderful first impression. Inside, the rooms are beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and very spacious. We especially loved the beautiful flower arrangements in every room, which made the cottage feel even more welcoming. Everything was extremely well equipped, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were wonderfully comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the calm, quiet surroundings made it the perfect getaway from everyday life. We also received a lovely welcome on arrival, which made us feel at home straight away. Polgorran is a truly special place, offering comfort, tranquillity, and everything needed for a perfect break. We enjoyed our stay immensely and are already hoping to come back again. Highly recommended!...

We booked Polgorran quite close to departure and on a bit of a whim. On arrival the Cottage totally exceeded our expectations. It is an old, characterful building which has been beautifully furnished and is very well equipped. Gorran Haven beach is close by and, again, exceeded our expectations. Gorran Churchtown is a lovely, small village with a small shop for essentials. We went well supplied with the basics, tea/coffee and cooking essentials which was definitely a good idea. The beach also is smallish with toilets, a couple of cafes and a large carpark close by. For Cornwall, this is a fairly accessible area, particularly the beach (no steep steps down!). The local pub, the Barley Sheaf is a 5-10minute walk away and services excellent food. Although a fairly quiet place, we loved this area and will definitely return. ...

We had a lovely time at Sue's cottage. She was a delight to talk to and very helpful - on hand if we needed anything but not intrusive. Her cake was also delicious too and a welcoming touch, along with the milk in the fridge. The cottage is so comfortable and well- equipped and it is easy to visit some lovely beaches, villages and eateries. A beautiful, peaceful location to wake up to, we highly recommend it....

I love the character of the cottage and it's location set in a rather lovely garden area. I also like the fact it's pretty rural yet near useful places to visit and to shop. Just down the road from the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and a short drive from several beaches. The interior has a traditional vibe, but it's also very practical with a good sized kitchen and modern bathroom. It has a nice light sitting room with log burner. The owner is available and is very helpful and friendly. ...
