I love the character of the cottage and it's location set in a rather lovely garden area. I also like the fact it's pretty rural yet near useful places to visit and to shop. Just down the road from the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and a short drive from several beaches. The interior has a traditional vibe, but it's also very practical with a good sized kitchen and modern bathroom. It has a nice light sitting room with log burner. The cottage is idyllic. We enjoyed waking up to birdsong and the beautiful cottage garden. The house is very peaceful and packed with character. Furnishings are traditional and the owner has tastefully decorated every room. There were lovely touches like fresh flowers and a good range of equipment. Beds were very comfortable and the house was cosy with good heating and plenty of logs for the stove on cooler days. The owner Sue was charming and helpful without being intrusive. Good local shop and decent food and service at pub in village. Plenty of walks and beaches nearby. Lost Gardens of Heligan just a short drive. We will return!...

We would recommend this cottage; the pictures don't adequately reflect the lovely feel and decor. We enjoyed meeting the owner and we felt at home there; private but equally someone to interact with if desired/needed.
