Twelve Steps was clean, nicely decorated, and in a great location. We found it generally comfortable and enjoyed our time there. However, it wasn’t quite right for our group of 10. The living space and dishwasher were too small for that number, and the listing mentioned fitted showers, which was an important requirement for us. In reality, both showers were over baths. Our elderly parents were unable to step into the bath safely, so they couldn’t shower at all during the stay. A few layout issues also made things awkward at times. That said, we did enjoy the peaceful setting and found it a relaxing place to spend time together....

We had a very enjoyable family holiday, 8 of us, ages ranging from 14 to 84. The property is ideally located between Newquay and Padstow. Excellent access to coastal footpaths and beach. Surfing was great as was the GoKarting at St Eval and the VR experience in Redruth. Had a lovely meal at the Merrymore in Mawgan Porth. ...

We found 12 steps to be an excellent home for our 3 families. The accomodation was first class and the location meant a short 10 minute walk to the beach and SW coastal path. Facilities were great and there is plenty of room for a large group to find space and privacy when needed. We would certainly be keen to return to 12 steps and do it all again ...
