We stayed at Twelve Steps from 26/4 which luckily was the heatwave week.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the house was lovely, spacious, spotless clean, well equipped & had stunning views. We visited all around the area and sat in the garden in either sun or shade & the sea could be seen in the distance. We spent the later evening sitting in the upstairs lounge watching the sunset. We hope to return....

12 steps is an excellent location for the beach. The property is very good in many ways but needs a thorough overhaul to smarten it up

Twelve Steps was clean, nicely decorated, and in a great location. We found it generally comfortable and enjoyed our time there. However, it wasn’t quite right for our group of 10. The living space and dishwasher were too small for that number, and the listing mentioned fitted showers, which was an important requirement for us. In reality, both showers were over baths. Our elderly parents were unable to step into the bath safely, so they couldn’t shower at all during the stay. A few layout issues also made things awkward at times. That said, we did enjoy the peaceful setting and found it a relaxing place to spend time together....

We had a very enjoyable family holiday, 8 of us, ages ranging from 14 to 84. The property is ideally located between Newquay and Padstow. Excellent access to coastal footpaths and beach. Surfing was great as was the GoKarting at St Eval and the VR experience in Redruth. Had a lovely meal at the Merrymore in Mawgan Porth. ...
