Appledore sits opposite Instow and a passenger ferry runs between the two during summer months.
North Devon is renowned for its incredible coastline, miles and miles for all the family to enjoy. Great for surfing, kite surfing and walking. This is the beach at Instow.
Catch the passenger ferry from Bideford Quay for a day of birdwatching on Lundy Island.
Charming Clovelly is a short car journey away.
Sit and admire the view from the harbour at Clovelly.
Have a day of adventure at North Devon Wake Park where you can wakeboard, paddle board or enjoy the giant aquapark!
Bideford is a pretty market town.

Lovely cottage, had all the amenities needed and more, really comfortable beds and so clean and tidy. The weather was a bit miserable so couldn't make full use of the garden, meadow and woodland so will try and come back another year.

An excellent property with all that is needed for a comfortable self catered holiday, the owner was friendly and helpful. The holiday was away from it all so some Devon lease to encounter but only 10 min utes from Barnstaple with all the necessary facilities. This is the sort of place we would return to. ...

Fig tree cottage is a lovely place to stay, the peace and quiet of the countryside but only a short drive to the coast. This is the second visit for us, and we enjoyed our stay just relaxing and not doing a lot.
