I would say that the property and its location went beyond our expectations. One of the nicest cottages that we have stayed in and there have been many. There was plenty of everything that we needed and not just the bare essentials and it felt like a home with excellent furnishing. The extra touches such as a cream tea on arrival, fresh flowers and all the additional things that are not always there such as soap, shower cream, toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets etc were very much appreciated. The owners were there if we needed anything but they left us to ourselves....

Received a very warm welcome from owners and their dogs Angus and Dexter! Cream tea. eggs and bread plus treats for our dog were a lovely surprise. Property is in an amazing location with views not done justice to in the picture. will be lovely to sit out on the veranda in the summer to watch the sunset. Cannot fault Popplestone, lovely furnishings, comfortable and with everything you could need provided. Hope to return soon....
