A very peaceful location, owners friendly but not intrusive and left us a lovely welcome pack. The cottage is clean and very comfortable, I would recommend it and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic cottage in a quiet location with superb views. Thoroughly enjoyed our week’s stay. Lovely walks from the door with the dog and lots of wildlife to be seen. Very helpful owners. Good location for exploring East Devon. Hope to return soon.

The hosts at Popplestone are lovely, as were their various pets, the setting is stunning, good facilities to make good and bad weather days enjoyable, the surrounding villages and countryside are lovely and there are plenty of places of interest to enjoy. Stunning walks and views both on the farm and nearby, lovely pub gardens, and the list goes on. The property was very well equipped for a holiday stay, and the scones and homemade preserves on arrival were particularly delicious. Highly recommended....
