The cottage was very clean & the linen smelled freshly laundered. Everything you could possibly need was provided. The hosts were fabulous & very friendly, as were their beautiful dogs. Although the cottage is quite secluded, everything is within easy driving distance. The birds that feed in the garden are beautiful & If you’re an early riser then it’s definitely worth a wander outside, I was lucky enough to see a badger one morning. A throughly delightful stay at Popplestone. The cottage is so well equipped and comfortable, the best we’ve stayed in. Lovely thoughtful touches. To arrive after a long journey to find homemade scones, jam,clotted cream and a tray laid out for tea was very welcome indeed. We will definitely book again....

The cottage is immaculate and furnished to a very high standard. With spectacular views within a peaceful & tranquil environment, a break at "Popplestone" leaves one refreshed and highly satisfied.

The property was fantastic with incredible views over the countryside. The kitchen was one of the most equipped we have used with everything you may need to cook something. The bed was very comfortable with lovely quality bedlinen on it. We found the cottage to be very clean and the welcome pack was lovely ready for when we arrived. The enclosed garden was great for our two dogs as well and enjoyed sitting outside with the dogs looking out over the views. We found the owners to be very friendly and would love to go back again some time in the future....
