Located within the grounds of the much-loved Trevaskis Farm, it sleeps up to 12 guests and combines country charm and contemporary luxury with everything you need close at hand for a memorable family holiday.
Trevaskis Farmhouse guests can enjoy an excellent on-site farm shop which has built its reputation on its well-stocked produce including a selection of freshly picked fruit and vegetables, as well as a traditional butchery, fishmonger, deli, bakery and dairy. There is also a popular restaurant open seven days a week, which has received widespread recognition for showcasing produce grown just steps away. Be sure to save room for the much-loved family dessert recipes served each day. Sustainability, local produce and fresh Cornish flavour remain at the heart of everything here, the owners remain committed and compassionate about everything they grow and this dedication is shared by the team that support them.
The farmhouse itself has been thoughtfully designed for relaxed family gatherings. Spacious and full of light, it has been carefully refurbished by the friendly owners who also live on the farm, with comfort in mind. Inside you will find a large country style kitchen/diner overlooking the garden fountain, perfect for sociable suppers and lazy breakfasts, along with a cosy snug for quieter moments and a welcoming sitting-room enjoying garden views with an open fire for cooler evenings. A utility-room and downstairs cloakroom add extra convenience.
On the first floor, there are four immaculately presented bedrooms. These include a luxurious super-king room with an en suite shower-room and lovely views across the farm, a versatile 'zip and link' king-size room for flexible sleeping arrangements, a charming bunk-room ideal for younger guests, and a cosy double. Each of the bedrooms have been individually designed offering its own unique character while combining comfort, style and a restful retreat for every guest. There is also both a bathroom and a shower-room on this floor, each finished to an exceptional standard, one with a bath and separate shower, the other a modern shower-room.
On the second floor, there are two more stunning bedrooms: one delightful king-size room and one super-king 'zip and link' room. This floor also has an additional shower-room. Tucked alongside the bedrooms is a family games-room with table football, table tennis, Pac-Man and a Smart TV, creating the perfect space for everyone to unwind after a day exploring this beautiful area.
Outside, the enclosed mature garden provides a restful retreat. Seating areas on the terrace and a charcoal barbecue invite al fresco dining, a children’s additional play area under the trees, while the bubbling hot tub offers the perfect place to relax beneath the starry Cornish skies.
Dogs are very welcome, although they must be kept on leads outside the garden because of the farm animals.
There is plenty to enjoy right on your doorstep. Alongside the award winning restaurant and welcoming farm shop, you can wander through the pick-your-own fields, where you will find more than 15 varieties of apples, seasonal berries, peas, beans and sweetcorn. Younger guests will love meeting the friendly pigs and piglets, South Devon cattle, grey faced Dartmoor sheep and the many breeds of chicken that provide farm fresh eggs each day.
Trevaskis Farmhouse offers a complete holiday experience without ever needing to leave the farm but if you do decide to explore, the golden sands of Hayle Towans are ideal for beach days and picnics filled with treats from the farm shop. Beyond Hayle, discover the magic of St Michael's Mount, set on its own island and reached by a tidal causeway.
The charming fishing town of St Ives is also close by, with its independent cafes and galleries showcasing local art. You can also spend a day in the historic harbour town of Penzance, taking a dip in the iconic Jubilee Pool after a stroll along the promenade.
After a day exploring, return to Trevaskis Farm for a freshly prepared meal in the farm restaurant before heading back to the farmhouse for a restful night's sleep.
