Set in the peaceful surroundings of Wringford Cottages, set yourself up for the day with a refreshing dip in the pool, followed by a hearty Full English on the south facing terrace, looking out over open countryside. From here, you can head out along the coastal footpath or wander down to the pretty twinned villages of Kingsand and Cawsand, where pastel coloured cottages line the winding streets and pubs and cafes offer plenty of places to eat and drink.

Once back at Hollyhocks you might fit in a set or two of tennis or head to the games-room for a friendly mini Olympiad, before returning to Hollyhocks for a sundowner on the balcony as the sun sets at the end of another day.

Inside, the open plan living-room creates a warm, easy welcome and keeps everyone together, whether cooking, chatting or enjoying a good old sing song around the piano. Large sliding doors open straight onto the terrace, bringing the outside in and making the most of the countryside views. It's the perfect spot for lounging in the sunshine, getting lost in the pages of a good book, firing up the barbecue or simply soaking up the peace and quiet. When bedtime beckons, a ground floor bedroom offers easier access for guests who prefer fewer stairs or who want a little more privacy and a spiral staircase leads to two further bedrooms on the first floor.
