Plain An Gwarry was a wonderful base for our family holiday. A couple of miles outside of Mevagissey and Goran Haven, the house was surrounded by farmland and provided a quiet and very relaxing and homely base for our holiday. The cottage was very homely and comfortable and felt newly renovated so very clean and well presented; the kitchen is very well appointed and a lovely space to cook and hang about it, semi open plan there was a nice connection between rooms and downstairs spaces connecting to the outdoor decking and garden which offer an afternoon and evening suntrap. Bathrooms were really clean and modern with excellent showers. Bedrooms and beds were very comfortable too. We discovered some wonderful secluded beaches and coves along the south coast path and the sea feels warmer and calmer than the north coast. A lovely stay, in a lovely part of Cornwall ...

We had a great week here. The cottage has plenty of flexible space for a large family group, and is well-equipped and warm. Well located for driving to Gorran Haven, Mevagissey, Heligan etc Comfortable beds with good bed linens, pillows and duvets. Well-equipped kitchen area with double oven, large hob, and a big fridge-freezer. Fab washing and drying facilities. Children loved the books and toys The cottage is located ½ mile away from the edge of St Ewe on a junction with the main road between Gorran and Heligan. Lovely garden with different levels, steps and a glasshouse, so children do need supervising....
