We loved our stay, the cottage was bigger than we expected from the photos and very well equipt. The kids loved being surrounded by the chickens and wild garlic. Mark was super friendly and helpful, and the jam, scones and cream were a lovely touch.

We had the best time! As a family of 5 it’s challenging to find places that work for us but this gem was perfect. The kids loved the chickens, the hammocks, the hot tub and the bunk beds. And the little touches like the books and bucket/spades was a godsend to keep them busy. It also felt private even though there was another cottage behind us so it had been well thought out....

From the booking process, to checking in and out, our experience was brilliant. The Little Woodland House was a true joy, with everything you could need and more. The high spec of the house is a pure treat, giving a luxury but rural feel. Despite being a small house, as a family of 5, we did not feel crammed in. Excellent little lodge, hot tub is lovely outside, location is ideal with many places close by to visit. Hosts are very nice, friendly, and helpful. Would fully recommend this place for a break. Its very quiet, lots of nature to listen out for. I would advise taking extra towels as that was our only negative, our visit was over christmas so it was cold, and it was hard to get the towels dry before smelling damp. Thank you again for a beautiful break....

Whilst extra towels will generally not be required, some guests may wish to bring additional ones in the cooler, wetter months, if they are planning on using the hot tub a lot, as there is less opportunity for towels to dry out fully in between regular usage.
