Maenporth beach is very pretty and has a cafe and restaurant. There is a car park at the back or perhaps walk the coast path along from Falmouth.
There are three beaches in St Mawes to choose from.
St Mawes is well worth a visit, just hop on a ferry from Falmouth to discover more.

Liked the location next to docks and Marina and everything within walking distance. Beach and cafe excellent. Walked to the castle. Restaurants in town facing the water, superb. Water crystal clear, wonderful colours and enjoyed the ferry.

Beautifully presented apartment and spotlessly clean with wonderful views of the docks from the main bedroom. It's an easy level walk to the shops and close parking in the gated area is another bonus. We would highly recommend Pendennis Tides for a comfortable stay in a beautiful apartment....

Pendennis Tides is a wonderful property right on the docks in Falmouth. There are views of the docks from the bedrooms. The kitchen is well equipped and the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and have exceptionally comfortable beds. It’s a luxury property in the heart of Falmouth, at the quieter end, close to shops and bars. It’s a lovely property: comfortable and spacious. I would highly recommend it and I would highly recommend classic Cottages. Any queries are quickly resolved. They are a great company....
