Amazing place to stay, beautiful house and exceptional location. Third time staying there and just as good as the first. The house was really clean and everything you need is there. Parking is good for two cars. Plenty to do in the area and right on the coastal path. The town over the years has improved with more places to eat and have drink. Highly recommended. ...

Rock is an amazing property! It has great fixtures and fittings, high-end kitchen and bathroom appliances. The highlight is the views over Portreath beach and a lovely balcony to sit, relax and enjoy the views. Rock is ideally situated to enjoy coastal walks and many parts of Cornwall. There’s a couple of lovely local pubs serving delicious food just a few minutes walk from Rock. Also a convenience store, bakery, cafe Chinese take away and fish and chip shop with a bar! If the weather is good there is no reason to leave Portreath. Would love to go back very soon. ...

Lovely home with an outstanding view. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Owners were very responsive to a concern that arose during our visit. Would highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely week away at Rock, the house is spacious and comfortable with wonderful views of the sea and crashing waves from the windows. It is situated directly on the coast path with wonderful walks in either direction, also not far from all areas of Cornwall. We visited Newquay, Porthleven, Penzance, Truro and Caerhays Castle during our stay. We made use of the buses to do linear coastal walks. Recommendations for food- Seaspray for brunch in Newquay over looking Fistral beach, The Mussel Shoals for mussels on Porthleven harbour and De Bara bakery for amazing almond croissants. Rock is an ideal place to stay whatever the weather!...

We are so pleased you liked it. It certainly is an amazing location. We understand from speaking with you since, seeing the clear cylinder in the hoover that hangs on the wall unemptied, was a little off-putting, as well as the washing machine/tumble drier cupboard, which could have been a little cleaner. We have passed this on to the owner, so they can pass this on to their housekeeper for future consideration. We are so pleased that you otherwise enjoyed everything on offer there.
