Boasting fabulous far-reaching views and perfectly situated close to the iconic lighthouse on the clifftop of Old Hunstanton, Honeystones is a relaxing holiday home and ideal for either a family holiday or a getaway with friends.
From the moment you arrive you will relax into your comfortable surroundings. This welcoming retreat has a well-equipped kitchen which leads into an L-shaped open plan sitting/dining-room with a large dining-table for sociable holiday meals together and a cosy sitting-area with comfy sofas. There are views across the neighbouring pitch and putt golf course looking towards the sea and it's the ideal vantage point to watch the sun set over the water. The pretty bedrooms have lovely linens and overlook the delightful garden, perfect for a restful night's sleep.
Bedroom one has a king-size double bed, bedroom two is a twin-bedded room (ideal for either children or adults) and the third bedroom is a single with a trundle bed. The family bathroom has a bath with an overhead shower and there is also a small shower-room with a wash-basin which is en suite to the double bedroom. Finally a cloakroom with WC and a washing machine and tumble-drier in the garage for you to use completes the accommodation.
Honeystones has a large, gravelled area to the front so plenty of room for cars, and to the rear a gorgeous south-facing lawned garden surrounded by mature shrubs where the children and family dogs can let off steam. The deck is home to outdoor furniture, the ideal place for al fresco dining from dawn until dusk.
Located on the outskirts of the town, which is affectionately known as 'Sunny Hunny', you can explore this beautiful part of the coastline on foot, wander into the town to pick up some supplies, visit the theatre and perhaps enjoy ten pin bowling. Close to the clifftops and lighthouse, it's perfectly located for strolling into Hunstanton or Old Hunstanton with its superb beach cafe and sand dunes adorned with pastel-coloured beach huts.
A regular bus service picks up close by if you wish to visit the nearest town of King's Lynn or for a fun trip out pick up the Coasthopper bus and explore the surrounding coastline, or enjoy some tasty treats at one of the pubs and restaurants in nearby villages such as Brancaster and Brancaster Staithe. Visit the Jolly Sailor or for a special occasion enjoy a splendid lunch by the harbour with local delicacies such as samphire and fresh fish, so why not sample the 'catch of the day'.
A great day out by bus or car is Wells-next-the-Sea, enjoy crabbing by the harbour wall or wander the lanes with individual shops and galleries to discover. Visit the stunning beaches against a backdrop of coloured beach huts elevated against the pines with views out to the harbour mouth, you may even spot a seal or two basking on the shoreline.
Take a stroll along the promenade linking Hunstanton to the neighbouring village of Heacham; a popular pastime with visitors and locals year-round. Visit the Sea Life Centre or take a ride on the funfair, great fun for the whole family.
