DoubleThe Cabin is a wonderfully unique retreat brimming with style and luxury nestled near the English/Welsh border. This gorgeous hideaway for two was meticulously crafted by the owner to mirror the curves of the rugged countryside that surrounds the cabin, while clever features such as a breathable membrane and infrared heating panels ensure that this is an eco-friendly delight.
Enter inside the beautiful timber exterior and you'll be greeted by a fabulous, handcrafted interior made from all sorts of gorgeous materials. The curved roof creates a wonderfully snug atmosphere while the fantastic range of furniture sourced from local artists and antique shops gives the space tonnes of character. A quirky wooden kitchen-area sits to the left of the cabin, perfect for preparing delicious brunches before you head out on a day's adventure. Open up the double doors and enjoy a warming coffee from the espresso machine in the fresh country air, or keep them closed and settle down for a cosy cup of tea on the inviting leather sofa.
The bedroom can also be found on the ground floor and boasts exceptional views! Natural light floods in through the wonderfully large window, under which you'll find a marvellous roll-top bath. Enjoy a relaxing soak after a big day of exploring and retreat to the fabulous double bed for a cosy night's sleep. Handcrafted cabinets are dotted around the room, providing plenty of storage for your holiday essentials, while a stunning antique chair offers a superb place to enjoy one of the many books provided. There's also a beautifully finished en suite shower-room within the space.
Once you've explored the stunning interiors, head out through the patio doors and enjoy The Cabin's wonderful outside space. There are beautiful views of the surrounding countryside on offer with the majestic Hanter Hill creating a stunning backdrop for you to enjoy. A charming little seating area provides the ideal place to enjoy a spot of al fresco dining while the small lawn area is a great place to soak up the sunshine.
There is also one other hideaway on site, The Lean To (5131), but please note your privacy is always respected.
The Cabin sits in an absolutely brilliant location, with plenty of fantastic walks right on your doorstep. Work your way up to the top of Hanter Hill for stunning views of the Black mountains. The dramatic landscapes of the Brecon Beacons are also close by and well worth a visit. For a cosy pub, The Harp is within walking distance and is a firm favourite of the owners! The pretty little village of Pembridge isn't far and is a great place to stock up on local produce. And finally, if you fancy something different, head over to the Red Kite Feeding Centre in Rhayader for a brilliant day out!
