You will find a lovely array of seaside kit for the children, great for crabbing on the quay.

Lymington from the old harbour, from the other side of the river you can take a day trip to the Isle of Wight, the ferry takes about 30 minutes to Yarmouth.
Lymington Old Town has historic streets that lead down to the Quayside, with cafes, restaurants and pubs where you can watch the world go by.
New Forest National Park, just a short drive away, looks wonderful all year round, acres of ancient woodland, and miles of footpaths and cycle tracks invite you to explore.
New Forest ponies roam free, along with cattle and pigs.
The Sandbanks ferry travels on chains across the strong tides at the entrance to Poole Harbour, linking Poole with the Isle of Purbeck.
Further afield, Studland beach, safe and sandy. In the distance Old Harry Rocks, the beginning of the Jurassic Coast.

Absolutely loved this house. Beautiful decor, and perfect for families with a dog. The games room provided fun in the evenings. The location is perfect - walking distance to beach, harbour, pubs, local shops and places to eat. We'll definitely be booking this lovely house again!...

Good location & people are very friendly as well, we loved muderford quay & very close to the new forest as well, the welcome pack was unexpected & even a treat for our little dog
