Formerly the officer's quarters of the coastguard station, 6 Coastguard Cottages has been beautifully decorated and offers a wonderful holiday home in Brook. This period property has a spacious open plan layout downstairs so there's plenty of room for the whole family to spread out. Bedrooms are decorated in pretty colours with a warm rose colour in the main bedroom, complementing the wooden furniture, and with patchwork bedspreads, there is a super chintzy feel. A smaller twin room comes with a miniature desk - not that there's homework to do on holiday of course! The driveway leads to expansive lawns, so lots of room to play outside on a sunny day, and Brook beach is within easy reach on foot.
6 Coastguard Cottages has much to offer a family looking for an island break. It enjoys stunning National Trust coastline and countryside, and also views of both Compton Bay (recommended for surfing) and Freshwater Bay. There's much to recommend at this property if you're looking for a combination of uninterrupted views and coastal walks.
