Our family ethos
Tony and Clare Tregoning started the business back in 1977 and their dedication to quality and excellence is at the heart of everything we do. Tony is sadly no longer with us, but we still adhere to their original ethos of finding holiday homes we would like to stay in and have slowly grown the company to find the best picks of properties across the counties. Plus Clare still drops in to keep us on our toes.
As an independent, family-run company, we wouldn’t expect you to stay anywhere we wouldn’t want to stay ourselves. And we’re pretty picky. We want you to walk into your handpicked holiday home and say ‘wow’, sit back and relax.
Whether you’re planning a large family holiday by the sea or a quiet short break with your new family, 17 of our properties accept babies and include a cot or make sure there is enough space for you to bring a cot. We know taking babies and toddlers on holiday isn’t easy. We try to make your trip as straightforward as we can by giving you all the information you need. If you’re not sure, feel free to call us.
Pack up the pushchair and head to the South and West for long winter walks on the beach, just the three of you. Stay in a romantic bolthole to escape the stresses of home for a week or two. A break together will allow you to make memories of your babe’s early moments: their first smile, the first steps, first swim in the sea. No matter how old your baby is, our cottages are a comfortable and relaxing home from home for you to enjoy.
